Zoo Cookies
Directions:
- Give your children animal crackers and q-tips. Have them dip their q-tips into different cups with corn syrup and food coloring. They can use their q-tips to paint onto their animal cookies.
Hungry Monkeys
Directions:
- Cut out five monkeys from brown felt and draw a number on each monkeys chest. Cut out several banana shapes from yellow felt. Have your children place the correct number of bananas under each monkey.
Zebra Sandwich
Directions:
- Using a sliced white loaf of bread, butter and spread or hazelnut spread on four slices. Layer the slices spread side up, adding a plain piece of bread on the top. Use horse shaped cookie cutters to cut out the sanwiches. You then have zebra striped sandwiches.
Monkey Obstacle Course
Directions:
- Set up an obstacle course outside for your little monkeys. You can use swings, ropes, boxes to crawl through, etc. Reward your monkeys with a banana once they finish.
Zoo Blocks
Directions:
- Set out zoo animals (plastic or stuffed) in the block area. Encourage your children to use the blocks to build cages for the animals.
