Glittery Snowflake Frame

Materials:

  • White Foam
  • Snowflake Stencil
  • Safety Scissors
  • Glitter
  • Picture of Each Child
  • Magnet

Directions:

  • Help your children trace a simple snowflake shape onto their foam. Once they have traced the snowflake help them to cut it out. Provide glitter and glue ,or glue pens, to decorate the snowflake. Once the snowflake is dry glue and picture of the child in the center and attacha magnet on the back to make a snowflake frame and magnet.


Candy Cane Beading

Directions:

  • Cut a pipe cleaner in half, put on one clear bead and turn the pipe cleaner around the bead, string a red bead all the way down to cover the sharp end. Continue to string beads in a pattern until all of the beads are used up. After the last bead is added, bend the end around the bead and feed the stem back through the 2nd bead to cover the sharp end to make a candycane shape.


Melting Snowman
Here's a snowman round and fat; (make circle with arms)
Out comes the sun and melts his hat. (touch head)
Here's a snowman with a scarf of red;
Out comes the sun and melts his head. (touch head)
Here's a snowman, fit as a fiddle;
Out comes the sun and melts his middle. (touch stomach)
Here's a snowman who waits for dawn;
Out comes the sun and he's all gone!

Winter Wonderland Homeliving

Directions:

  • Turn your homeliving area into a wintery wonderland. Place white batting on the floor for snow and hang snowflakes from the ceiling. Set out winter clothes and accessories.
