Glittery Snowflake Frame

Materials:

  • White Foam
  • Snowflake Stencil
  • Safety Scissors
  • Glitter
  • Picture of Each Child
  • Magnet

Directions:

  • Help your children trace a simple snowflake shape onto their foam. Once they have traced the snowflake help them to cut it out. Provide glitter and glue ,or glue pens, to decorate the snowflake. Once the snowflake is dry glue and picture of the child in the center and attacha magnet on the back to make a snowflake frame and magnet.


Handprint Wreath

Materials:

  • Green and Red Paint
  • Poster Board

Directions:

Draw a large circle on a piece of posterboard. Paint each child's hand green and have him stamp it on the circle, palm against tracing and fingers pointing out. after the paint is dry let your children make red thumbprint berries. Cut around the inside and outside of the wreath and add a bow. You will have a beautiful wreath to hang from your door.



Hand Print Angles

Materials:

  • Paper
  • Paint
  • Glitter

Directions:

Paint and stamp a child's foot on the middle of the piece of paper. Next have them stamp their hands on either side of the footprint(making wings). Help them add glitter to the wet paint and when it dries paint a face



Snowman Ornaments

Materials:

  • Wax Paper
  • White Glue
  • Ribbon
  • Sharpies

Directions:

  • Draw a snowman shape onto a piece of waxed paper. Have your children squirt glue into the shape and let dry. Once the shape is dry let your children color it with Sharpies. Punch a hole in the top and string a ribbon to make an ornament or window hanger.


Mitten Prints

Materials:

  • String
  • Mitten Stencil
  • Paint
  • Eye Dropper
  • Construction Paper

Directions:

Fold a sheet of construction paper in half and have your children use eye droppers to drop paint onto one side. Once they are done dripping paint, fold the paper back in half and rub. Trace the stencil onto the paper and cut through both halves. You will then have two identical mittens. Attach ribbon to both sides and hang from a clothes line in your classroom.
