Branding Prints
Materials:
- Brown Paper Bags
- Paint
- Potato stamps
- Wooden spears
Directions:
Discuss with your class how cowboys have to brand their horses and cows. Before beginning the project with your class, crumple up brown paper bags or construction paper and cut out potatoes to form western stamps place the sharp side of the spear into the potato to form a brand. Have your children use the stamps while holding the spears to brand their own hide.
