Easel Heart Painting

Materials:

  • Easel Paper
  • Pink, Red and Purple Paint

Directions:

Cut out hearts from the paper and attach them to your easel. Let your children paint theri very own extra large valentine.



Bird Valentine

Directions:

  • Use a cookie cutter to cut a heart shape from a slice of stale bread. Help your children spread peanut butter on the heart and then sprinkle on birdseed. String a ribbon through the heart to make a hanger. Hang the valentine on a tree and watch for the birds to come and enjoy.

Musical Match-up

Directions:

  • Cut out large valentines day hearts for your class , one for every two children. Decorate each heart differently and then cut the in half in a zig zag pattern (make sure each is cut differently). Give each child a heart half and turn on some music. Have your children dance around and find their other heart partner when the music stops.
