Microscopic Snowmen
Bring in things usually are used to build snowmen (stick arms, buttons, carrot sticks, pom-poms, etc) and let your children look at them under a magnifying glass

Snoflake Matching
Fold a piece of construction paper in half an cut out two identical snowflakes (do this five four times.) Lay the eight snowflakes out and have your children match them.

Indoor Snowman
If it has snowed bring in snow from outside and let your children build a snowman in your water table. If there is no snow use cotton balls


How Many Buttons
Glue five snowman cuttouts with a different number written under each one onto a manilla folder. Help your children place the correct number of buttons (matching the number under the snowman) on each snowman.

Melting Snowman
Have your children predict what will make a snowman melt the fastest (salt, cold water, hot water, salt water, nothing) Use each method on similar size mini-snowman and graph the result
