Citrus Snowflakes
Materials:
- Oranges
- White Paint
- Blue Paper
Directions:
- Cut an orange in half horizontally. Have your children dip the orange into the paint and then press onto their paper. The orange will make a pretty snowflake print.
Snowman Line-up
Directions:
- Cut out several different sized snowman shapes from felt. Ask your children to line them up on the flannel board from smallest to largest.
Dance Like Snowflakes
(to the tune of: Are You Sleeping)
Dance like snowflakes,
Dance like snowflakes,
In the air, in the air.
Whirling, twirling snowflakes,
Whirling, twirling snowflakes,
Here and there, here and there.
Frosty Windows
Directions:
- Help your children create frosty windows in your classroom. Provide your children with 1/2 hot hot water mixed with 1/2 cup Epsom salt and a paint brush. The mix will dry leaving crystals and snow design on your classroom window.
