- Tooth Picks
- Paint or color the play dough
- Talk about Sea Urchins and show your kids pictures of sea urchins, Then let them create their own sea urchins using the above materials.
Sea Habitat
Put things that exist in a sea habitat (sand, small shells, smooth stones, seaweed,
etc) for your children to look at.
Octopus
An octopus has Eight long arms (Hold up four fingers on each hand)It lives in the sea, but don't be alarmed (Wave hands back and forth to show no worry)
He squirts out ink (Clap hands), when he is the prey
And grows a new arm when it’s torn away.(Hold up arm as high as you can)
Under the Sea Bulletin Board
Put your children's artwork on a bulletin board and then cover it with blue cellophane to make it appear to be under the
sea.
