Stained Glass Turtle
Materials:
  • Contact Paper or Waxed Paper
  • Tissue Paper or Construction Paper
  • Googly Eyes
  • Yarn
Directions:
  • Give the kids the contact paper (or glue and wax paper) cut out as a sea creature. Then Let your kids make their own stain glass turtle. After they have dried hang them in the window to make a beautiful stained glass look


Snake Matching
Talk about how different snakes have different patterns, color several snakes with different patterns (having at least two of every pattern) and let your children match them.

(Softly) Alligator (Make alligator mouth with fingers)
Looking for some food in the morning

(Louder) Alligator (Make alligator mouth with hands)

Pantyhose Snake
During reptile week put pantyhose snakes in the play are. They're easy to make just put tissue in one leg of pantyhose. Add your own facial features to make the snake look more real.
