Coffee Filter (or bowl) Turtle
Materials:- Coffee Filters
- Construction Paper
- Googly Eyes
- Paint
- Glitter
- Turn the coffee filter upside (or paper bowl) down and glue on construction paper, or paint to make the shell. Next make a head, legs, and tail to add to the turtle Finally, glue on googly eyes and you have a great turtle!
Turtle Aquarium
Put an Aquarium in your room with a turtle in it. Ask your local pet store how
to set up the appropriate habitat. Children love to watch the turtle swim and
crawl around. Hint: Don't let your children touch the turtle (they can carry
diseases)
Tiny Tim the Turtle
I had a little turtle, his name was Tiny TimI put him in the bathtub, to see if he could swim
He drank up all the water, he ate up all the soap
and now he's sick in bed with a bubble in his throat hiccup
Turtle Ritz
Put peanut butter on Ritz crackers and let your children use pretzels to make
the legs and tail of the turtle.
