Penguin Potato
Materials:
  • Potato (one cut in half, and one cut long ways)
  • Paint
  • Construction Paper
Directions:
  • After talking about penguins give the children the supplies give them the supplies. If the children choose to they can make great penguin design by painting with potatoes. If they don't use it as a stamp they will surely find some use for it.


Stain Glass Penguin
Materials:
  • Contact Paper or Waxed Paper
  • Tissue Paper or Construction Paper
  • Googly Eyes
Directions:
  • Cut contact paper in the shape of a penguin. Give your children the material and let them make their own stain glass creature. After they have dried hang them in the window to make a beautiful stained glass look.


Footprint Penguin
Materials:
  • White Paper
  • Construction Paper
  • Paint
  • Googly Eyes
Directions:
  1. Dip the child's foot in black paint or an ink pad and put on white paper.
  2. Add eyes an orange beak and a small white circle for a belly and you have a footprint penguin


Paint With Feathers
Materials:
  • Paint
  • Feathers
  • Paper
Directions:
  • Let your children paint a picture, using feathers as a brush.


Penguin Shapes
Materials:
  • Construction Paper
  • Glue
  • Construction Paper
Directions:
  • Give children different shapes (Ovals, Hearts, and Triangles work well) in black and white. let them put their own penguin together.
