Little Monsters
Materials:
- Paint
- Fat straws cut in half
- Construction paper
- Feathers
- Googly Eyes
- Squirt three colors of paint on a plain piece of paper. Take a fat straw and have your children through the straw causing the paint to spread. After the paint dries glue on eyes and feathers of choice. Looks good on black paper.
Spooky Drawings
Materials:
- White Crayons
- White Construction Paper
- Water Colors
- Give each child a white crayon. Have them draw a Halloween picture onto their paper. They will need to press a little harder than usual. Once they have completed their drawing have them use water colors to paint over the entire paper. The drawing will "magically" appear because the watercolors will not stick to the crayon.
Spider webs
Materials:
- Black Construction paper
- White Paint
- Silver glitter
- Marbles
- Box Lid
- Spider sticker
- Place a sheet of black construction paper into a box lid. Have your children scoop out three marbles forma cup of white paint and drop them into the box onto the paper. Sing a halloween song while the shake their boxes. Once they are done shaking sprinkle silver glitter onto the painting. The marbles roll to make a great spider web. Once it is dry, have your children place a spider sticker somewhere on the web.
Ghost necklaces
Materials:
- Wax paper
- Glue
- Googly Eyes
- Paper clip
- Lanyard String
- On a piece of wax paper have the children squirt out glue on it in the shape of a ghost and add googley eyes, glitter ect. Then open a paper clip in the shape of a 'V' and insert in the top and let dry. After done carefully pill off and place in string in the paper clip to make a ghost necklace!!!
Ghostie Feet
Materials:
- White Paint
- Googly eyes
- Black Construction paper
- Let each child put their foot in white paint and make their footprint upside down on a piece of black paper. Glu googly eyes on the heel of the foot. Enjoy these ghostly feet.
