Clown Faceand Hat
Materials:- Construction Paper and/or Paper Plate
- Pompoms
- Crayons
- Glitter
- Let the Children decorate a piece of Legal paper. When this has dried make a cone shaped hat with it. Next let the kids decorate a clown face on the paper plate. You can attach it with yarn. Now the children made great clown costumes
Mix and Match
Cut out two of various circus shapes (clowns, lions, elephants, etc.) Put them
all in a bowl or a clowns hat and let the children match them and then sort
them any way they see fit (animals/ non animals, by colors, etc.)
The Little Clown
This little clown is fat and gray (hold up thumb)This little clown does tricks all day (hold up next finger)
This little clown is tall and strong (hold up next finger)
This little clown is wee and small (hold up next finger)
And this little clown can do anything at all (hold up little finger)
Jump Through Hoops
Get Hula Hoops and let the children jump through them. To add a bit of excitement
wrap red and orange ribbon around the hula hoop and pretend it is on fire!
