Parachute Jingle Bells
Directions:
- Place small bells on a parachute or sheet. Have each of your children grab a part of the parachute. As you all sing Jingle Bells have your children move the parachute to jingle the bells. At the end of the song have everyone raises their arms quickly which will send the bells flying.
Pin The Nose On The Reindeer
Directions:
- Cut out a large reindeer head and hang it at your childrens level. Give each child a red dot sticker and have them try to place it on the reindeer's nose, just like pin the tail on the donkey.
Santa, Santa, Reindeer
Directions:
- Play just like duck, duck, goose
Decorate The Tree
Directions:
- Cut out Christmas trees with felt. Next cut out ornament shapes out of different colored felt. Let your children decorate the felt Christmas trees. For older children tell them how many ornaments to put on the tree or have them roll dice to decide.
Homeliving Christmas Store
Directions:
- Set up your homeliving area as a store. Place boxes on shelves and wrapping paper, tape, Safety Scissors and ribbons on a table. Let your children pick out boxes and then wrap them to put under your christmas tree or around your homeliving area. You can ask parents to donate ribbons, boxes, and wrapping paper.
