Rock Lady Bug
Materials:
- Paint or Markers
- Rock
- Pipe Cleaners
- Glue
- google Eyes
- If you live where you can, let your kids go pick out their own rocks. Then wash the rocks, let them dry. Then give the kids all the different supplies and let them design their own bug.
Bee Hive
Talk to your children about the intricate workings of a Bee Hive. Tell them
about how all of the bees have a specific task and they all have to work together
to have a successful Hive. If you can find them bring in honey combs and let your children explore them with magnyfing glasses
Hint: Natural food stores usually sell honey with combs in them
Lady Bugs Fly
Lady bugs fly, fly, fly, fly They fly over here, they fly over there,
They fly up high and they fly down low
A round and around and around they go,
They fly really fast, and they fly really slow
Lady bugs fly, fly, fly, fly
Honey on a Comb
Cut toast into a honey comb shape, let your children spread honey on it to make a delightful snack.
