Ant Collage
Materials:
  • Contact Paper
  • Construction Paper or Tissue Paper
Directions:
  • Cut the contact paper in the shape of an ant. Let you kids put the construction paper or tissue paper on it and make great collages


Ant Picnic
Have red and white checkered sheets with numbers in the center. Have your children put the correct number of ants on the sheets.

Ant Fun
Bring an ant farm in and let your children watch them make tunnels or Burry (to the rim) several containers of food in the ground. Put a piece of cardboard on top of the container. In some containers put foods that will attract bugs. In others put foods that won't. Before you put them out ask the children to suggest which foods they think the bugs will like. Check back latter and see if the children are right.
