Materials:
- Epsom Salts
- Water
- Black Construction Paper
- Safety Scissors
- Popsicle Sticks
- Penguin Stencil
- Pencil
Directions:
- Help your children trace a simple penguin shape onto their paper and then cut it out.. Mix Epsom salt with warm water until it forms a paint consistency. Have your class use the popsicle sticks to paint with the Epsom Salts. When the salt mixture dries the penguins will look shiny and icy.
Directions:
- Cut out five igloos from construction paper and write a different number on each igloo. Laminate the igloos to an open manila folder. Cut out ice squares form paper and laminate each square individually. Have your children put the correct number of squares on each igloo. Store the igloo squares in an envelope in the manila folder.

- Wrap your blocks with white paper and place pictures of igloos around your block area. Encourage your children to use the blockls to build igloos.
