Materials:

• Apples cut in half perpindicular to the core (so you can see the star)
• Paint on paper plates
• Thick Paper

Directions:

• Cut the Apples in half vertically and horizontally. Stamp the apple into the paint and then onto the paper. (I prefer to pour the paint onto a sponge and have them stamp onto the sponge in order to avoid getting too much paint)

Observe and document- apples in different states- whole, sliced, cooked, and peeled

Provide a variety of apple snacks throughout the week. Some suggestions: Apple Sauce, Apple Pie, Apple Cider, Raw Apple,
Apple Juice, Cinnamon Apples, Fried Apples, Candied Apples, Caramel Apples, Chocolate Dipped Apples, Apple Cobbler, Apple Butter
